Scotto Brothers History

Storied Catered Events In Long Island

Mr. Anthony Scotto and his brothers arrived in the United States from Italy in 1961, immediately setting to work in their uncle’s Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. In 1967, after years of hard work and dedication, the brothers and their brother-in-law opened their first restaurant: ‘Scotto’s Pizzeria and Restaurant’ in Port Washington, with a second location in Great Neck. A few years later, they expanded their interests and opened a string of successful local steak houses. It was here that our family's passion for the culinary arts and superior service grew into a reputation for Long Island hospitality leadership.

In 1978, we purchased our first banquet and catering facility in Carle Place, New York and named it Chateau Briand. As our love for hosting catered events evolved, we ventured to the North Shore, Long Island's Gold Coast, and built the Fox Hollow in Woodbury in 2002.

While our family business has grown beyond all expectations, we've never lost sight of why we started. We pride ourselves in having family owned and operated facilities that lend all events - no matter how big or small - a personal touch. You will always find a family member present and directly involved. We extend our sincere welcome to you and your guests, so enjoy the facilities and family atmosphere.
